This morning began with a family walk around the neighborhood since the girls had a snow day. Snow days meant next to nothing to us before we had kids, especially after we both started working from home. Now snow days mean making cookies at 9:00 in the morning, family walks, watching movies, playing music, long conversations, and soup for dinner. (And, if we’re being completely honest, it also means spending some time in hiding.) While having the kids home from school does fill the work day with many distractions, snow days are also a gift for allowing us to spend time with our girls when we’d normally be apart from each other. Having said that, though, I sure hope there is school tomorrow…
